We have something to celebrate! For the first time, we won gold in the “Sovereign Cloud” category at the IT Awards organized by Vogel IT-Medien.
The readers voted for this award. You've shown us that you trust us when it comes to digital sovereignty and data protection. We'd like to thank you for that! This award adds to a decades-long success story in which we've received numerous awards.
Gold for “Sovereign Cloud” at the 2026 IT Awards
The IT Awards are among the most renowned reader awards in the German-speaking IT industry. For the twelfth time, Vogel IT-Medien's portals invited readers to vote for the best IT providers and manufacturers. This year, readers cast a total of 60,000 votes. The award ceremony took place during a festive gala on 15 October 2026 at Hotel Maximilian’s in Augsburg.
Sovereignty requires not only trust but also a solid foundation. That's why we rely on our own infrastructure at our data centers in Nuremberg, Falkenstein and Helsinki. All three locations have ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and allow businesses and individuals to store their data and run their applications within the European legal framework. This way, our customers maintain control over their data, applications and IT systems.

2026 was an award-winning year
We also received awards at two other major award ceremonies. At the Service Provider Awards, we took home the highest honor in two categories: “Superscaler” and “Datacenter/Colocation XXL”. Once again, readers of Vogel IT-Medien cast their votes. Among other things, they evaluated the reliability, performance and quality of our infrastructure and services. Over the past ten years, you've voted us into the top spots at the Service Provider Awards a total of twelve times. Thank you for your continued support!
We have a long history with the “Bayerns Best 50” award. In 2026, we received it for the sixth time. Each year, the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy presents this award to 50 medium-sized companies in Bavaria that have demonstrated particularly strong growth.
More than 30 awards in nearly 30 years of company history
Most of our awards over the past decades have come from readers' votes. After all, you're the ones who use our products – and who better to judge our infrastructure and services than you? You've voted us into the top spots in numerous polls, including awards from “PC-WELT”, “funkschau” and the Service Provider Awards mentioned above. In 2025, we received the “Products of the Year” award from the renowned magazine connect professional. Readers cast around 21,000 votes to choose their favorites in 26 categories across the ICT industry. We took second place in the “RZ-Colocation” category.
Expert juries have also recognized the quality of our hosting services on several occasions. In 2007, we received the “eco Internet Award” as the best hosting provider for private customers. Another award followed in 2011, this time in the “Hosting” category. Key factors included our price-performance ratio, the security of our data centers and our commitment to environmental protection.
That same year, we received the “GreenIT Best Practice Award” for our energy-efficient data center concept. Our commitment to sustainability also gained international recognition. In 2013, our data center park in Nuremberg earned one of the top spots in the “New Datacentre of the Year” category at the “International Datacentre Awards”, organized by the international consulting firm BroadGroup. Our environmentally friendly direct free cooling, components optimized for low energy consumption and innovative modular building concept were particularly impressive. We've also received several awards for our business performance and growth. Alongside “Bayerns Best 50”, we won the “Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award”, for example. One particular highlight was receiving the “Ruban d’Honneur” at the European Business Awards. An independent jury of business experts recognized our business development and innovative strength, placing us among Europe's 110 most successful companies.

Conclusion
