• HETZNER INTRODUCES NEW SHARED VCPU CLOUD SERVERS

  • Gunzenhausen / Germany – 6. June 2024

The German hosting and cloud provider Hetzner just launched four new shared vCPU cloud server plans with Intel® processors starting at just € 3.79 a month.

The smallest plan, the CX22, comes with 2 vCPUs, 4 GB of RAM, and 40 GB of disk space for € 3.79 per month or € 0.0060 per hour. Next is the CX32, which has 4 vCPUs, 8 GB of RAM, and 80 GB of disk space for just € 6.80 per month (€ 0.0113 per hour). Following that is the CX42 with 8 vCPUs, 16 GB of RAM, and 160 GB of disk space for € 16.40 a month (€ 0.0273 per hour). To maximize performance, there is the CX52 with 16 vCPUs, 32 GB of RAM and 320 GB of disk space for the amazing price of just € 32.40 per month (€ 0.0540 per hour). Plus, all of these plans include 20 TB of traffic and 1 IPv4 address.

Because these shared cloud plans divvy up CPU resources, they are ideal for development and testing environments, blogs, forums, CMS, small databases, and VPN servers. And if customers’ requirements change over time, they can simply scale their server up or down, and even automate the scaling using Hetzner’s API.

The billing is also flexible. All of the cloud plans come without a minimum contract period. Depending on how long customers use the server, they pay based on the hour or the month. The invoice is always for the smaller of those two options.

Using Hetzner Cloud’s award-winning, user-friendly, and intuitive design, users can make their dreams a reality by quickly and easily implementing their projects. And they can rest easy knowing that the new plans, which are housed in Hetzner’s data centers in Germany and Finland, comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, the GDPR.
