Hetzner Online is certified in accordance with DIN ISO/IEC 27001:2022
Hetzner Online GmbH operates an information security management system (ISMS) certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The certified scope covers all hosting services and data centers of Hetzner Online GmbH. The certification applies to the sites in Nuremberg, Falkenstein/Vogtland, and Helsinki, Finland.
The ISMS provides the organizational framework for appropriately protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and IT services. Information security risks are systematically identified, assessed, and treated through appropriate technical, organizational, and personnel measures.
The ISMS is firmly integrated into the company’s business processes. Its suitability and effectiveness are regularly reviewed through internal audits and as part of the certification process conducted by SOCOTEC Certification Deutschland GmbH. Findings from audits, risk assessments, and day-to-day operations contribute to the continual improvement of security measures and processes.
