Frequently asked questions
-
Are the GEX servers suitable for AI training?
Whether a server is suitable for AI training depends on the size (number of parameters) of the AI model being used. The GEX63 and GEX131 each have 96 GB of VRAM, providing sufficient performance for training most popular AI models. For particularly large models with high graphics memory requirements, the GEX430—with four GPUs, each featuring 96 GB of VRAM—offers significantly more headroom.
-
Do the GEX servers support CUDA technology?
Our GEX servers are equipped with NVIDIA RTX GPUs and therefore support CUDA technology.
-
At which locations are the GEX servers available?
The GEX131 is available in our data centers in Falkenstein (FSN1) and Helsinki (HEL1). The GEX45, GEX63, and GEX430 servers are available exclusively in Helsinki (HEL1).
-
Can the GEX servers also be configured with multiple GPUs?
With the GEX430, we offer a multi-GPU server equipped with four GPUs. The GEX45, GEX63, and GEX131 servers each have one GPU and cannot be configured with multiple GPUs.
