Even more RAM and storage volume: The Dell PowerEdge™ R470 DX294-2 server is the premium version of the DX294 series and the high-end solution for demanding enterprise workloads with high utilization and intensive parallel processing. These include database and analytics scenarios, cloud infrastructures, HPC workloads, and latency-critical applications.

With 512 GB DDR5 ECC reg. RAM, it offers twice as much memory as the smaller model. The four 1.92 TB NVMe SSDs Datacenter Edition of the 4th generation quadruple the storage capacity and deliver high I/O performance.
The latest-generation Intel® Xeon® Gold 6787P “Granite Rapids” CPU with 86 cores and 172 threads is responsible for fast and efficient processing of compute operations. Together with Intel® Hyper-Threading technology and improved hardware acceleration, the server ensures highly efficient use of processor resources. Intel® VT enables flexible virtualization and high utilization of parallel workloads.

Thanks to the expansion of the Intel® SGX Enclave Page Cache (EPC), this new model offers significantly more protected memory for confidential computing.
