  • The new Hetzner Dedicated Server AX162 with AMD EPYC™ 9454P for intensive workloads
  • Gunzenhausen / Germany – 27. February 2024

The German hoster and data center operator Hetzner Online presents the AX162, a new dedicated server in two variants based on the 4th generation AMD EPYC™ Genoa 9454P processor, which has been specially developed for high and parallel workloads. 48 CPU cores and 96 threads thanks to simultaneous multithreading as well as the Zen 4-core architecture ensure a doubling of CPU performance compared to the previous model. The AMD-V virtualisation function also enables efficient virtualisation and high-performance computing.

With its standard configuration of 2 x 1.92 TB Gen4 NVMe SSD Datacenter Edition and 256 GB DDR5 ECC reg. RAM, the AX162-R offers outstanding computing power and fast file access speeds. The AX162-S with its 2 x 3.84 TB Gen4 NVMe SSD Datacenter Edition and 128 GB DDR5 ECC reg. RAM is particularly suitable for rapidly expanding, memory-intensive tasks.

To make the AX162 dedicated server as individual as possible, the RAM can be gradually scaled up to an incredible 1152 GB DDR5 ECC reg. The storage capacity can also be individually configured. Up to 8 Datacenter Edition NVMe SSDs or 2 SATA Enterprise HDDs of different sizes can be integrated.

The AX162, including an IPv4 address, is available from just € 199.00 plus a one-off setup fee of just € 79.00.
