New AMD Ryzen dedicated root servers: "Matisse" masterpiece at affordable pryzes
Starting now, you can get your hands on the much-awaited third generation of Ryzen CPUs based on the "Matisse" Zen 2 architecture. They are the newest members of our AX line of servers. These processors are specially designed to handle creative workloads, and let you experience high frame rates per second while rendering. So they're great for video editors, animators, and gamers who are on a budget. Or you simply deploy these servers as affordable work horses for applications that require multi-threading technology. Compared to the previous CPU generation, you can expect a boost in performance across the board, plus increases in cache size and floating point units.
Our four base models allow you to pick and choose the configuration that's right for you. The AX41 and AX41-NVMe are based on the Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, which has 6 cores and 12 threads. They also house your choice of either two 2 TB HDDs or two 512 GB NVMe SSDs, plus 64 GB of DDR4 RAM. Both of these models start at the low price of € 39.00 a month plus a once-off setup fee of € 39.00. And we haven't forgotten our ECC RAM fans. You can choose ECC as an addon for just € 5.00 a month!
The bigger brothers of these models are the AX51 and AX51-NVMe, which are based on the Ryzen 7 3700X, which has 8 cores and 16 threads. For storage, you can select either two 8 TB HDDs or two 1024 GB NVMe SSDs and employ 64 GB of DDR4 ECC RAM. You can get your hands on these servers starting at € 59.00 a month plus a once-off setup fee of € 59.00.
And naturally, for all four models, you can add a wide range of other hardware, such as NVMe and SATA SSDs or HDD drives for a small additional monthly fee.
