Free DNS management solution: Hetzner DNS Console
The new DNS Console is an intuitive tool you can use to manage DNS zones and records, and which works together with our authoritative nameservers. The Domain Name System translates domains that humans can easily read, like www.hetzner.com, into numerical IP addresses, while reverse DNS (rDNS) translates IPs into domains.
Create new DNS zones, add DNS records to them, edit these or delete entries - all in one place on the DNS Console. Our user-friendly GUI makes doing this a piece of cake. By default, you can add up to 25 zones. If you need more, just send us a quick support request and explain why you would like a limit increase.
Our DNS Console includes an innovative auto scanning feature. This time-saving feature automatically scans existing DNS entries, making it easier for you to transfer existing zones. In addition, the DNS API allows you to automate your DNS management using your own scripts, or you can use examples in our DNS API documentation to help you get started.
The DNS Console GUI supports the most common record types: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, SRV, and TXT. If you need to edit another record type, you can do that manually by using a BIND file.
DNS Console works seamlessly together with Robot and Cloud Console, and a single sign on allows you to access all three interfaces with your existing account. You can even use DNS Console to manage third party DNS resources. So even if you have no Hetzner products, you can still use our DNS Console. And it won't cost you a thing.
